I love houses, period.

The quaint ones, the modern ones, the charming ones - and even the rundown ones. Sometimes especially the rundown ones. I’ve been reimagining spaces, renovating fixers, and designing homes for over 15 years all over the Bay Area. First, as a stager before staging was what it is today, and then running my own design firm and working for HGTV. 

As an agent with Compass, my experience and knowledge as a designer come in handy when helping buyers and sellers find the true potential in their homes. For me, true potential equals maximum value reflected directly in sales price, whether you’re selling now or 10 years from now. 

For Buyers

I love reimagining the possibilities in a house, which is essential for anyone who’s ever walked through a house that “needs a little work.” It’s not like on TV where you can reject a home because it has bad paint colors. It’s too competitive, and the inventory is too low in the Bay Area to be that picky, so we have to reimagine what a house can be. I demystify the idea that taking down a wall costs millions or updating a kitchen takes 6 months. What may seem insurmountable can be thoughtfully processed and estimated, and that’s what I’m good at. I have a list of contractors, plumbers, electricians, and repair people that you can put on speed dial. Our relationship doesn’t end when you get the keys. 

For Sellers

With my years of experience in project management and renovation, combined with smart, well-tested strategies for preparing a house for sale, I am able to work within a budget to get the most bang for your buck, spending money only in the places that are guaranteed to see a return. In my experience, this equals more feet through the open houses and more offers on the offer date. A house that exudes charm is a house that sells quickly and for the most money. Getting there can be overwhelming, but I manage the process from start to finish. All you have to do is hand over the keys, and I take it from there. 

A little about me…

I’m a southern girl at heart. Originally from Mississippi, I came to the Bay Area in 2000, first living in Pacifica and then San Francisco for over 17 years. After having surprised twin boys, plus a very active 3-year-old daughter, my wife and I decided to move to Berkeley, and we haven’t looked back for a second. Moving my family and business to East Bay has been one of the best life decisions I’ve made, and I am now a self-proclaimed brand ambassador for moving here!
